National STEM Video Game Challenge

The National STEM Video Game Challenge is a multi-year competition to motivate interest in STEM learning among America’s youth by tapping into students’ natural passion for playing and making video games. The Challenge is run by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and E-Line Media.

The first Challenge was announced November, 2010 at the White House by President Obama and winners from the 2012 and 2014 Challenges were invited to Washington to participate in the second annual White House Science Fair.
